Richard Freeman: How to save the world — Wake up

October 31, 2011
tags: ,

This video is taken from a series of ones that ask the same question: How to save the world?

He focuses on waking up, or perhaps it is more “awakening up.” I think it also captures the cerebral side to Freeman that come through in his writings. There’s also hints of his famous (I think) use of simile and metaphor.

A loosely similar sentiment can be found in an old U2 song: “Bad.” The lines go:

I’m wide awake
I’m wide awake
Wide awake
I’m not sleeping
Oh, no, no, no

Thanks, Steve, for sharing Richard’s wise words about the ‘Awakening Epidemic’ and being a part of its systemic spreading.
