A month ago, we noted that Eddie Stern and his wife, Jocelyne, will be leading a weekend workshop beginning Oct. 6 at the Greenwich Jois Yoga.

Now, there’s specific details about it:

Please Join Eddie & Jocelyne Stern for a weekend of classes & lectures. In addition to offering three Mysore sessions and a Beginner’s Led Class, we will host a Saturday Q&A session with tea and light refreshments. On Saturday evening, there will be a lecture, demo, and dinner event with musical guest Caroline Jones. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

Two registration options are available.  Registering for 3 days of Mysore enables you to attend all other special events. Registering for Saturday only enables you to attend one of the Saturday classes (Mysore or Beginners’ Led), the tea time Q&A, the Lecture & Demo, and the evening dinner event.

If you think about it, we live in a pretty lucky time. We have unprecedented access to experienced Ashtanga practitioners and unprecedented opportunity to study with them Along with the Ashtanga Mela, there are plenty of workshops happening in the coming weeks and months with the Confluence teachers, even. There’s even the Internet and what it offers for those who can’t get to workshops or shala.

Given it’s the Kali Yuga, we need all this, right?
