Some Lovely Images of the Opening Puja

The Confluence Countdown is honored to post some of the photos of the Confluence opening puja by Michelle Haymoz. Michelle practices at Tim’s, and is a very talented photographer–although she’s very careful to say she took these as a participant, not a pro. Her love for the practice and the teachers shines through–I’d say these images capture the sense of reverence at the puja perfectly. Here’s what she has to say about it:

What do I know about photography other than I immerse into the subject my eye is addressing, and through that feeling to bring forth beauty, wonder, and dignity. The Universe always cooperates on many levels.

Quoting Mark Twain:
“You can’t depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.”

You can see more of Michelle’s work here. Her photos of Tim and Diana take prominent places in our home, and inspire us every day. Here’s just one example:

  1. Gorgeous. I love the picture of Tim with Hanuman in the background. Very sweet.

Eddie’s got some “stuff” on his forehead, I see! 😉
