‘Magic in the making’ — John Scott practice video from Paris and Part II from Timji

Last summer, we directed your attention to a wonderful video out of Paris. Now, Mysore Yoga Paris is showcasing the photo shoot of a practice with Ashtangi John Scott. Based on info at the website, it was Scott’s first time with them. Check it out:

We also promised last week to give you Part II of Tim Miller’s two-week blog post on Dasara. It is right here and a little excerpt:

For the locals it was unusual to see two westerners in a tree, and Teresa’s presence in the tree was particularly amusing.  We soon attracted a large group of curious Indians, all pointing at us and laughing.  A policeman arrived on the scene and ordered us to come down out of the tree.  At this, the crowd rose in our defense, shouting, “Don’t come down, you stay there!”  We stayed in the tree and eventually the policeman left.  Soon there were about 20 Indian boys in the tree with us, wanting to make friends and share our nice view of the Dasara Procession.

There is a short Guruji story, too, which are always welcome.
